This 1972 Lotus Elan +2 is a rolling project with no engine or transmission. It was acquired by the seller in November as part of a package deal and, according to the seller, retains its differential and suspension components. Numerous parts are included and documented by the seller. No prior history is known and this Elan +2 is being offered for sale in Colorado Springs, Colorado at no reserve on a bill of sale with an old Massachusetts title. The fiberglass body is said to be in good shape with some checking and crazing of the finish present. Several repaints have occurred throughout the vehicle’s lifetime. It was reportedly stored inside for many years prior to the seller’s purchase last year. Some surface rust is noted on the chassis. Some exterior badging is included but remains uninstalled. According to the seller, interior components are mostly present, but carpets are only acceptable for use as patterns. Gauges appear to be complete and the wood dash will require refinishing. Switches and other electrics including the wiring harness look intact per the seller.
